2014 International Crosstie and Fastening System Symposium
We are excited to announce the 2014 International Crosstie and Fastening System Symposium, which will be held on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, USA, 3-5 June 2014.
This three day conference will have presentations, discussions, and a technical tour that focus on the state of the art in timber, concrete, steel, and composite crosstie and fastening system design, performance, research, modeling, and inspection.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Railway Tie Association's (RTA) annual Field Trip and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) Committee 30 (Ties) meetings that will take place that same week.
